Comments

The prestigious Airport-Center was built in three phases between 1991 and 1993. It has a total floor space of around 35,000 square metres, of which 22,000 are intended for office use, 4,000 for services and 5,200 for storage purposes. The first phase was devoted to creating a business park offering a mixture of industrial/warehouse and office usage. In the other two phases, office space dominated. The service areas are on the ground floor, which has a greater clearance height than the floors above. The office buildings comprise between two and five storeys. The communal areas, daylit staircases and lifts are all fitted out to a high standard, while efficiency and flexibility were the priority when designing the office areas. The latter benefit from suspended ceilings, window ducts for cabling and external solar shading. There are 290 underground parking spaces, plus 256 parking spaces above ground. The local amenities are excellent, with plenty of shops, the Langenhorn shopping centre, hotels and restaurants in the vicinity.
