About Grand Central Saint Lazare

Grand Central Saint-Lazare is one of the most modern business centres in the heart of Paris. The project at the Saint Lazare Railway station comprises a new business centre with rental space of around 23,700 sq m. It benefits from a location that is unsurpassed in terms of transport links: Saint Lazare station is a major traffic hub in central Paris, used by over 100 million passengers a year.

The iconic building was designed by Ferrier Marchetti Studio and developed by the Carlyle Group. Union Investment acquired Grand Central Saint Lazare as a speculative project development in 2017. With its completion in November 2019 the building simultaneously achieved fully let status.

At Grand Central Saint Lazare, public spaces are no longer only functional but act as catalyzers of richer and diversified social times, in resonance with the surroundings. It includes:

three entrance lobbies
two restaurants
several terraces comprising a total of 2,000 sq m
a public promenade
a bar and a publicly accessible auditorium
a green roof that can be used for agricultural purposes

Grand Central draws inspiration from Gare Saint-Lazare’s extraordinary heritage as the first railway station in France, and its presence within the impressionist paintings of Claude Monet. It is designed to reshape the district’s dense urban environment, and reconnect visitors to the spirit of Paris.
