Forward Deals: Our latest acquisitions
We cover the entire spectrum of forward deals. Over the past few years, we have secured a high number of properties by means of forward purchase. We are also open to forward fundings under the right conditions. The main focus of our project purchases is in Europe, but we have also accompanied development projects from planning to completion in North America and the Asia-Pacific region.
Current refurbishment projects
Centre d'Affaires Paris-Victoire
The office property, built in 2006, is located in the ninth arrondissement, the financial district of Paris. Union Investment is currently modernising the building by investing a double-digit million volume.
The office and commercial building Le Président, built in 1988, is located in the south of Brussels in the district Ixelles/ Elsene. The building is currently being completely restructured and repositioned on the market by Union Investment.
Union Investment and the InterContinental Hotels Group are jointly investing around 60 million euros in the modernisation of InterContinental Berlin, one of the best-known hotels in Europe. The 5-star hotel has 558 rooms.
Union Investment invests 50 million euros in the renovation and conversion of the Steigenberger Hotel Hamburg. The building will include a rooftop bar and a presidential suite. The property has been in our portfolio since 1996.
