At the 2018 PropTech Innovation Award ceremony the Dutch company Physee was awarded as the most innovative PropTech of the year. Physee has developed the first and only, fully transparent electricity and data generating windows that increase the energy efficiency and user experience of buildings. HiP Interactive Property was honored for its ground-breaking platform that re-thinks the way real estate assets are bought, sold, collateralised and interacted with. Ranking in third place Spaceti, headquartered in Prague, convinced the jury with its technology for digitising buildings based on the principles of indoor location.
More than 300 guests from PropTech start-ups and real estate grown-ups came together in Berlin and met in one of the coolest event locations of the vibrant German capital: Säälchen near Berlin Ostbahnhof station. After a key-note and a panel discussion there were two rounds of pitches. Finally the jury named three winners and invited all guests to an informal networking evening.
The jury invited twelve finalists in six categories representing fields where digitisation will probably have the strongest impact for the real estate industry in the upcoming years. These categories are 01 property management sercives, 02 smart building & sensor technology, 03 new work, 04 energy and construction, 05 smart data and 06 visionary.
