General information on the processing of your personal data

The information below explains how your personal data is processed in accordance with Article 13 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Controllers for data processing

For the processing of all personal data associated with the provision of study results and communication, Union Investment Real Estate GmbH and Union Investment Institutional Property GmbH are the controllers as defined in Article 4 (7) of the GDPR.

Scope and purpose of data processing

The personal data processed includes: company, last name, first name, telephone number, e-mail address, street name, house number, city and postcode. Your personal data is processed for the following purposes and to the extent necessary for these purposes: provision of the study, further communication and promotional activity. The legal basis for processing the data is Article 6 1.(a), (f) of the GDPR.

Duration of data processing

Your personal data will be erased when it is no longer required for the specified purposes and legal retention periods have expired.

Technical processing

When technical processing of personal data is carried out, support is provided by specialist technical service providers. These service providers are carefully selected and are legally and contractually obliged to ensure a high level of protection of personal data. The legal basis for cooperation with these service providers is Article 28 of the GDPR.

Sharing personal data in other cases

For purposes other than those specified in this clause, your personal data will only be shared with third parties where there is a legal obligation to do so, where legal permission has been granted or if you have given your consent.

Disclosure, erasure and porting of personal data

In accordance with Article 15 of the GDPR, you have the right to request information on the personal data stored about you. If you discover that your stored personal data is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right at any time to obtain rectification of inaccurate data or completion of incomplete data without undue delay in accordance with Article 16 of the GDPR. Under the conditions set out in Article 17 paragraph 1 and Article 18 paragraph 1 of the GDPR, you also have the right to obtain the erasure or restriction of processing of personal data.
If your data has been processed on the basis of consent (Article 6 1.(a), GDPR) or a contract (Article 6 1.(b), GDPR), you have the right according to Article 20 of the GDPR to receive the data you provided in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to have this data transmitted to a third party.
You also have the right to contact the data protection officer of the Federal State of Hesse if you have a complaint.
