The building
Built in 1819, the office building is heritage-protected and provides 6,191 sq m of rental space. It was completely refurbished in 2002. The six upper floors are mainly used as offices. The exception is the 260 sq m space on the ground floor which houses the Mendelssohn museum. There are also two apartments on the top floor, each comprising 380 sq m. The basement contains a dedicated underground garage with a car lift to access the 18 spaces.
Location & surroundings
The office building is part of Mendelssohn Palace, in an outstanding location in Berlin’s Mitte district just a few metres from Gendarmenmarkt square. It has excellent public transport connections: the Hausvogteiplatz subway station is just a three-minute walk away, while the Französische Straße subway station can be reached in five minutes.
