Our Nordics portfolio
From development projects to existing properties, we have built a strong portfolio in the Nordics in recent years. As part of our international growth strategy, we are aiming to more than double our investment over the coming years.
€1.36 billion
Total value of the real estate portfolio in the Nordics
That is the total invested by Union Investment in the Nordics since 2008. As one of Europe’s leading property investment managers with assets under management of some €47 billion, the Nordics are an essential part of our strategy – with huge further potential.
€ 600 million
Acquisitions in the last five years
We have steadily expanded our exposure to the Nordics in recent years and want to grow significantly faster here in future.
14 properties
Completed holdings
As an investor with a focus on the long-term, our key success factors include sustainability, a value-adding investment style and active asset management. We want to expand our current portfolio in the Nordics and are actively seeking attractive investment opportunities in the core, core plus and value-add segments. With over 50 years of investment experience, Union Investment is a reliable partner for your transaction.
2 projects
Under development
Alongside existing buildings, our acquisition strategy is increasingly focused on development projects. The Urban Environment House in Helsinki involved the successful completion of a project based on stringent sustainability criteria. Our Hyperion residential project, also in Helsinki, is currently in the construction phase. Here again, the emphasis is on high building standards and sustainability. With the 25hours Hotel in a prime inner-city location in Copenhagen, we were able to acquire another project in a metropolitan region in Scandinavia. Our in-house Real Estate Project Management team provides expert support from the planning of a development right through to completion.
