Union Investment has been investing in office properties for over 50 years. Accordingly, the bulk of the properties in our global portfolio fall into this category. We understand the diverse requirements of the markets and have defined clear regional responsibilities within our teams. We are continually adding properties to our portfolio in Germany, Europe and overseas.

As a conservative investment manager, we hold office properties in the core and core plus risk classes in prime locations and also in secondary locations with development potential. The majority of our office properties are located in Europe, but we have been driving forward the expansion of our portfolio overseas in recent years, particularly in the US. We apply the same high quality standard across the different regional markets.

Union Investment aims to hold its office properties for many years and maintain their value through active management. We also regularly make new acquisitions for our portfolio. The carefully timed strategic disposal of properties allows us to reduce the age of our real estate holdings on a regular basis.
